This inner city apartment was created by a university architecture lecturer. The construction consisted of concrete tilt up panels, stretching four stories high. The ground floor concrete was finished by IDC in a polished satin Hypafloor, including a predominantly black aggregate and natural matrix to complement the raw and industrial feel of the residence. The wet areas where tiled using 600 x 600 polished porcelain tile in a charcoal finish, creating an elegant yet minimalist look. The accentuating white sanitary ware was complemented by chrome fittings and frosted glass panels.
